Care Insurance

What is long-term care insurance?

Long-term care insurance is an optional coverage provided by some employers. In the course of your employees lifetime, there may be a situation that would place your employee or a dependent into a long-term care facility for recovery of illness or injury.

While most health insurance options provide coverage for care at a medical facility, it may not extend to long-term care.

Long-Term Care
Coverage Limitations

Like many other insurance benefits, Long-Term Care Coverage does have limitations. For instance, if you need long-term care due to a pre-existing condition, you may not receive coverage.

When does
coverage expire?

Like life insurance through your company, long-term care insurance can only be active while an employee or a member of the organization. Once the individual leaves the company or organization, the policy discontinues.
